Chimera Obscura

Made for the 2025 STLGameDev Spooky Jam!

You are an explorer who happened to accidently open a portal to another dimension!

Armed with only your wits and your camera, you venture through the portal into a weird and dark dimension full of grotesque, mishappen creatures you have dubbed "Chimera" - because they resemble the amalgamated monsters of myth.

With your limited supply of Oxygen, try to take as many photos of the Chimera that inhabit this place and then make it back to the portal to safety where you will be able to catalog, name, and sell each of your photos to make some money for upgrades - so your next trip through the portal can last longer...

NOTE: there are a few lingering bugs in the game - notably if you are playing with gamepad some of the ui-interface buttons don't see the gamepad - and using the gamepad you can 'lose' the mouse and have a hard time clicking buttons.
